We picked a drawing out of our sketch book and traced it onto the front of the black paper and then added some other etches to create different hues of color.
Extension: Younger students love to work with sketch art. This is a fun and different type of art lesson for younger students. It gives the students a chance to make a picture of anything they want and it comes out color. They can learn about the different shades of color by scratching more of the black off.
